February is/was Black History Month and March brings us Women's History. We have begun our study of the states and capitals. So far we have covered the New England States, the Mid Atlantic States and are working on the Great Plains States. A fun website you might want to visit to practice is: http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games.htm.
We
are presently involved in reviewing a unit on fractions. We are
becoming more solid on finding equivalent fractions and common denominators
We are connecting history with language arts in our reading of the classic, Johnny Tremain by Ester Forbes.
